How To Stay Healthy From the Inside Out +Hyperbiotics Giveaway

Hello, everyone! I hope you are all having a great summer and enjoying the beaches and sunshine! We have been staying busy and Emery is getting so big. She loves going to the beach and pretty much anything we do outside. She just started daycare today so I’m super excited that I will have so much more time to dedicate to B&B while she gets to learn new things and meet new friends. I have some fun content planned for the rest of the summer and hopefully I will be more on top of things (if you haven’t noticed there hasn’t been a new post in…awhile). Anyways, today I’m sharing some little tips on how I stay healthy starting from the inside out. I’ve been taking some new probiotics and doing little things here and there that have been making a huge difference in my overall health. Let’s jump in!

Probiotics

I started taking Hyperbiotics probiotics a few months ago and have been loving them. Probiotics are good bacteria that help your gut health. There are so many things like our diet and stress that damage your bacteria system, which can affect your overall health and things like your mood and your weight. I started out taking PRO-Moms which is for pregnant or breastfeeding moms and now I am taking the Better Body which really help with my energy and maintaining a good metabolism. Collagen

I’ve been mixing in some collagen peptides with my water. There are a few different brands and versions of these but my favorite so far is the Glotrition Collagen Peptide Drink Mix because it tastes really good in water without having to mix it into a smoothie or shake to hide it and it also has biotin and antioxidants. The benefits of taking it is maintaining collagen and hydration levels from the inside out to promote super healthy skin.

Water

Drinking water is so simple yet super effective. I also wrote about it here. I drink my body weight divided in half in ounces. So if you weight 100 lbs then drink 50 ounces of water a day (not sure where I remember getting that from but it works!)

Food

I make sure I eat a good breakfast and good lunch, that way if we have pizza for dinner I don’t feel as bad because I ate good the rest of the day. Everything in moderation is something to always keep in mind. I also track my food most days on MyFitnessPal because it opens your eyes to how many calories you’re taking in, then I can think to myself “is that third Oreo really worth it?”.

Exercise

I try to be consistent with working out but it just doesn’t always happen, that’s why I incorporate many different types of exercise. We ride bikes, go for walks, swim, and I have a treadmill as well to help workout when the weather is bad or I just want to stay inside. The most important thing here is to stay active most of the day. Stand up and walk around at least once an hour if you work at a desk, I like to do 10 squats every so often to keep the blood flowing. I also wear a watch that tracks my activity, etc.
